The Warsaw Ghetto, Part II
They say that history is written by the victors, not the defeated.
This is part two of this article, The Fourth Reich – Israel, and the new Warsaw Ghetto.
On April 19, 1943, Jewish resistance fighters in the very crowded Polish Warsaw Ghetto attacked the German occupying army. A month later, 20,000 Jews were dead and a further 36,000 were deported to Nazi death camps! The Ghetto was designed to pack as many Jews into a small space as possible, with little water or medical assistance in the hope they would die. Many did.
For some reason, it seems to me that Israel is doing the same with the Gaza Strip.
A few days ago, Palestinian’s Hamas militia (or terrorists, if you are on the other side) counter attacked Israel, claiming “enough is enough.”
Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant called for denying Palestinian people electricity, food, water and fuel as Israel continues its bombardment of Gaza. Israel’s defense minister on Monday announced a “complete siege” of Gaza, describing the Palestinian fighters who attacked Israel over the weekend as “human animals.”
This statement sounds like it originated in Germany, how the Nazis described the Jews. What goes around, comes around.
Based on my last article, that Israel under its Prime Minister, Netenyahu who is working to become its right wing sole ruler, and that the Palestinians have been long trapped in Israel’s Warsaw Ghetto, the Gaza Strip, the Palestinians (“terrorists”) are fighting back.
The Gaza Strip militants are tired of frequent raids and killings by the Israeli military when it chooses to, claiming that the people killed are militants ignoring the civilians deaths, or collateral damage the term used in the United States.
And the innocent Israeli and Palestinian civilians are paying the price.
Naturally the west decries the deaths of the Israeli citizens, but not the Palestinian civilians. Even when Israel is destroying city blocks in the Gaza strip where Hamas fighters, a.k.a. terrorists depending on your point of view, are almost all sheltering in tunnels. It’s the public in the Gaza Strip, men, women and children that are being killed, but not talked about. That’s not the narrative.
And naturally, the Palestinians, as in the Warsaw Ghetto uprising, will fail and Israel will indiscriminately bomb civilians in the Strip claiming that they are all terrorists, even children.
They will state that the terrorists are hiding in civilian locations, so the Israelis “regrettably” must kill civilians to kill the “terrorists.” This will not be met with any condemnation by the west, although the west condemned Russia for similar bombings, where Ukrainian military forces used the same techniques… using human shields to protect themselves.
The Times of Israel reported that one quarter of Israelis were considering leaving Israel because of “judicial reforms” meaning that Mr. Netanyahu, would become the supreme leader due to the reforms, closer to the Nazi ideology of a sole ruler.
I’m sure that it’s far more now.
A number of years ago, I wrote an article about “New Israel” that would have been created a diaspora, far from the Middle East to allow Israels to live in peace and prosper rather than living in an eternal war zone. My ideas were picked up internationally, but nothing happened.
The idea is similar to Alaska and Hawaii being U.S. states but not physically connected to the lower 48 states. They are still a part of the United States although separate.
The concept was that the U.S. government would buy private property about the size of the original Israel under “eminent domain” laws along the Texas coast. Read the two articles, part one here and part two here. It would give that land to Israel as New Israel, no longer a part of the United States. The current owners would be paid a lot of money for their property and allowed to stay, automatically getting Israeli citizenship if they wanted it.
Of the many, many Israelis who want to leave Israel, they would have a place to go, still be in Israel and live in peace and prosper. I suspect 75% of the public would leave, especially the young who don’t want to serve in the Israeli military.
In return, Israel would give back the land seized in the 1967, Six Day war and peace could return. I suspect that New Israel would continue to grow in population and Israel would only be occupied by religious lunatics zealots.
Perhaps now, I hope the idea will resonate. Or perhaps not. Business as usual.
Let’s see who writes the history books.
