(Ridiculous) State of the Union address

A few days ago, President Obama made his annual State of the Union address. Sad to say, he’s living in a liberal’s dream world where he thinks that he can introduce a plethora of new programs but not increase our national debt while providing them. The national debt is growing at well over $40,000 a second. I wrote a second in case you missed it.

Without rehashing the points that have been analyzed over and over again I do think that the point of the sales pitch, that gullible Americans fall for again and again, is that government is good, and that you’re going to get something for nothing.

His focus is twofold. One, to get even more leverage over the becalmed and adrift Republicans in Congress, so they will collapse yet again and give in when sequestration rears its ugly head next month. And two, that he is positioning the Republicans as the bad guys, so voters should kick them out in the next election cycle.

President Obama needs to regain control of the House of Representatives. If that happens, President Obama will really flex his liberal borrow and spend muscles and the fun will start.

What happened to the America of my youth? It used to be that America stood for free enterprise and small government, and the U.S.S.R. stood for no enterprise and big centralized government that controlled its public. After the collapse of the U.S.S.R, the newly named Russian Federation became a country of free enterprise and we are becoming… .

Stop the world, I want to get off.
