Now what? Is President Trump going to jail?

I don’t think so, and I am surprised that he was even indicted. Anything to stop him running for president… again.

So what will happen? Firstly, he has been charged with thirty four charges, but not “spitting on the sidewalk.” That’s unusual, as in our nation of laws, selectively applied, usually “spitting on the sidewalk” is thrown in so that if he’s found not guilty of the thirty four charges, they can get the same punishment for spitting.

While tongue in cheek, many charges are routinely filed so that the befuddled jury can find someone not guilty of all but the “spitting charge.” It’s very bad for the prosecutor’s career and political ambitions to lose cases. They have to have a winning record.

So the juries are thanked for doing what they are told, leave the courtroom and then the “guilty” party gets exactly the same sentence as with the other thirty four charges. Justice in America.

All roads lead to Rome.

So unless President Trump withdraws from his presidential run, citing “health reasons,” or he doesn’t like rat infested cells then the prosecutor will do his or her best to find him guilty. What does he care? After all, it’s reported that his beloved donors have sent him $7  million dollars in donations against legal fees and whatever he wants to spend the money on.

And that’s to a billionaire… as he needs the cash.

So… we shall see. At the least, it will be entertaining for a while until we get something more entertaining, such as the shyster Zelenskyy running for it to California… for the good of his country of course, with a vast amount of money he saved from his ~$1,000 USD equivalent  salary.
