Marjorie Taylor Greene has accomplished her goal after being sworn in as a congresswoman last month! And what was that?

To become a national public figure, after being in congressional office for just a few weeks. She has become known, and as she is a congresswoman representing a conservative district in North-West Georgia, she will have the very high paid congressional job for as long as she wants it. Which will be a long time.

Why?

Because few voters know who they are voting for. They just vote for the incumbent or a familiar name. That’s it! That’s why so much money is spent getting elected… just to be known so the voters click on that box.

Look at President Biden’s Transportation Secretary pick, and you’ll understand why being known is so important.

In her instance, I read that she just loaned her campaign about a million dollars to get the press and other media’s attention.

Whether she actually spent it I do not know but as it was a loan she could just repay herself after she started receiving donations, so her out-of-pocket cost of being elected is zero. That’s how it’s done. Smoke and mirrors.

Candidates are mainly interested in name recognition. Do you think, for example, that former President Trump would have been elected if it wasn’t for his TV shows?

And because Marjorie Taylor Greene is now well known nationally, she will become a rising star in the Republican Party… after her nonsense is forgotten in a week or two. She will do very well.

She’ll make a very nice congressional income, qualify for perks and a great retirement pension. What’s not to like?

That she was removed from her newly appointed committee junior assignments means nothing for speaking idiocy and nonsense doesn’t matter. It just means more time to work on her Twitter and Facebook messaging. What a punishment!

Same for Congressman Matt Gaetz of Florida. He threw himself at the feet of former President Trump, offering to defend him even if he had to resign his position in Congress. I hope he has a rag to wipe the boot polish off of his tongue.

I’m sure that he triple checked the laws so that he wouldn’t have to resign. That’s not going to happen..

Just noise… but get’s him press. Another rising star.
