Why we are having a panic attack, Part Two
Part Two
So other than the 24 hours news people talking about little else but the coronavirus, what is going on?
I suspect that, as the news people who are in coronavirus panic, hysterical mode 99.9% of the time, our government will quietly move forward to do whatever they want to do that would normally be blocked by risking public outrage. That could end their reelection prospects. As you know, that is job one… getting rich, job two and the public too far down the list to be seen.
It’s a distraction, somewhat similar to a magician who waives his one hand around to get your attention, while the other hand is behind his back doing the “magic.”
For example, I read an article that our navy is going to cruise up and down the Venezuelan coast to stop “narcotics being smuggled by sea” to the United States. I have to laugh, as I don’t know how our navy will be able to block the overland routes that are normally used.
It’s like putting a road block on a country road, next to the freeway. The “plan” is to stop interstate trucks. Those trucks may have drugs to satiate our unending appetite for them but you don’t know until you stop them, Of course they are on the freeway,
It’s obvious that the navy will not be able to stop anything, but will be in position off of the Venezuelan coast. That’s what important.
I was in Mexico last month, and talked to soldiers manning a roadblock to stop drug traffickers on a road. As there were five parallel roads, all unmanned. I wondered what was the point. They shrugged.
It was a job, and they liked being paid.
It was showtime, that’s all. So is the “narcotics being smuggled by sea” ruse.
So what is the navy going to do?
I suspect, harass the oil tankers. They will do their best to block one of the few ways that Nicolas Maduro’s, Venezuelan government has to raise money. At $14 a barrel, not a lot. Our sanctions haven’t worked, so it’s time for a new ploy. “Stop the drugs!”
You may not know, but Venezuela has the world’s largest supply of untapped oil reserves, even bigger than Saudi Arabia! And our government is desperate to get our hands on it.
Why don’t we see stories of our government trying to depose governments of other Central American countries? No oil, or not enough to be a profitable venture.
You may also recall that President Trump withdrew our soldiers from Syrian positions near Turkey. Did they return to the United States? No, they were repositioned to protect the Syrian oil fields, and stop the Syrian government getting the oil. So what happened. The Syrian Free Army sold the oil to brokers; they then sold the oil to the Syrian government.
Our tax dollars at work!
Our government, anxious to destroy Venezuela, continues to develop never-ending methods to accomplish that goal. We have lived through Vietnam, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Libya and other ruined countries but have not learned. In this instance, why?
Oil.
As a result of embargoes and sanctions the Venezuelan government started printing money. These are photos of the old 20,000 bolivar notes. How much do you think 20,000 bolivars are worth in US dollars? As of today if you had three, or 60,000 bolivars you could exchange them for one US cent!
That’s hyperinflation, designed to destroy Venezuela. It hasn’t worked.
Our government has tried for years to get rid of the current Venezuelan government (“regime” when we don’t like them) and install our (almost certain) CIA operative, Juan Guaidó. Laughably he recently self declared as Venezuela’s president and tried to enter parliament over the fence! I’m not making this up!
Mr. Guaidó attended post-graduate school at Georgia Washington University, in the DC area. Our government, led by our self-declared genius president strongly supports Juan Guaidó. I wonder why? Georgia Washington University happens to be seven miles from CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.
What a coincidence!
So filter out the panic of the, day, weeks or even months, coronavirus news cycle, and look for a possible “Gulf of Tonkin” incident. It could be as simple someone waving at one of our ships, an obvious aggressive act. That will be the excuse for our military forces to finally get rid of the Venezuelan government.
Why are they such a nuisance, for not wanting to be deposed!
Even if our government has to fake it, like it did with the “Gulf of Tonkin” incident in 1964 that got us into Vietnam, they’ll do it. Our government doesn’t want a crisis to go to waste.
Smoke and mirrors. This is one of the reasons for the panic of 2020.
We shall see.
