What this 60 Minutes CBS show featuring retiring U.S. Senator Tom Coburn. In a single sentence he says why our government is corrupt. The reason he said it is that he is retiring and has nothing to lose by telling the public the truth. Do you care? Sadly, probably not. That’s why our nation is in trouble.

You’ll have to watch at least some of the show, but the interesting comment is at 3 minutes and 30 seconds. It’s worth hearing.
