Why the fuss about Congressman elect, George Santos?

George Santos has been caught lying about his background after being elected last month to Congress. He will be sworn in on January 3rd although it seems that everyone is outraged that he was caught lying! Imagine that!

I don’t know what the fuss is about since it’s normal for Congress people to lie to the public. That’s considered normal. Yes, really, really, really.

So it seems that he should (self) serve two years in Congress, collecting a very nice income, plus expenses; work to make deals with special interests to make lots of money when he leaves, and run for reelection.

If the public in his district cares, they’ll vote someone else in. I suspect in two years, the kerfuffel will be long forgotten.

So what’s the fuss about?
