When China sneezes…

It used to be “When America sneezes, the world catches cold.” That is changing to “When China sneezes, the world catches cold.” You can hear the NPR story below.

Have you noticed that when the Chinese stock market started to fall, ours did as well and fell by nearly 600 points on Friday. The Chinese market fell again today, and ours collapsed by almost 1,100 points before recovering.

A closer look at today –

The tables are turning. China is taking the lead and we are following. It doesn’t have to be, but the babies in Washington are so busy having temper tantrums that they aren’t noticing the fundamental changes. Those changes can be blocked, and our country can be restored to greatness, but our congresspeople, the House and Senate babies won’t do it. They are too busy arguing with each other and getting wealthier.

This global stock market drop is just a tremor as happened before Mr. Vesuvius erupted. The real collapse will occur between 2018-19. That’s when things will get really, really bad.

According to the International Money Fund, but unreported by our media, China has the world’s largest economy. We can pull ahead again with a little common sense. Sadly that’s lacking in Washington in deference to party politics and self enriching strategies. The story below is from the BBC. Read it here.
