ballotcounting

About five years ago I sent hundreds of baby pacifiers to every member of Congress, House and Senate and asked them to act like adults, not babies. I’m sure that they thought it was funny.

I should have saved one for President Trump.

For the usual reasons, elections are only fair if he wins. Sad for him, he apparently isn’t or hasn’t, so on January 20th he will no longer be shielded from prosecution at the state level if New York chooses to indict him, and probably his children.

If he would have only done what I suggested he would have won by a landslide. Read this.

His issue is that he thinks that “his destiny was to win,” but reality got in the way. Or so he thinks, or it’s all “unfair” and “fake news.” Where’s that pacifier when he needs one?

But has he lost or about to lose? We’ll find out when the certified vote count from each state is released. Or will we? Actually not, as the vote recount may be just a feint, or delaying action to justify the next step.

It’s the Electoral College vote that counts, not the public’s vote. If the winner-take-all Republican led states change their assignment of electoral votes to each district as described in the Constitution rather than all for one side, then it’s possible that President Trump will be reelected.

For example, if the dominant Republican legislators in the battleground states states change from winner take all to by district, as Maine and Nebraska do, then President Trump wins! It will only need some states to change their system “for the good of the country.”

Or they can just tell their Electors that the vote count was fraudulent, and President Trump actually won. They then tell their Electors to vote for the president. The Electors are people chosen by the states and, I suspect, will all be right wing Republicans.

Very, very unlikely. But truth may be stranger than fiction.  Read this.

The mistake President Trump made was running for president initially. Before that, he could get away with a lot of borderline activities, and because he was wealthy the authorities knew they were in for an expensive fight, so they left him alone. Poor people go to jail, en-mass to support the prison industry.

But as president, he is now very, very well known by everyone so has potentially become a target for prosecutors, including possible state tax fraud.

I’m also confident that he will also preemptively pardon his family and even himself from federal prosecution, possibly for federal tax fraud as is his right as president. Whether pardoning himself will stick, I don’t know but there isn’t any harm trying. Is there?

If he loses, there is always the chance that New York State will indict all of his children, and the then former president. If they do, they may offer the children a plea bargain if they turn on their father! When the “White Ship” goes down, everyone scrambles for the one lifeboat. Truth may be stranger than fiction.

The news media will love it.

That said, I am amused to get ongoing emails asking for donations from the public requesting them to pay the huge legal bills he will incur in his vain effort to block ballot counting.

For some reason, he doesn’t mention that he is a billionaire anymore, 100% self funded during his first campaign (although his website had a donate here button) and could easily pay for his own lawyers.

Why use his own money, when he can get the public to pay?

And although he has not been accepting his monthly presidential paycheck, virtue signalling, I wonder if he will suddenly keep it for the next few months plus the huge federal pension he will get after? It’s all about the money. Watch and learn.

Sadly, the public are being used… as usual.

At least this is entertaining, and there are many more chapters in this novella.

We shall see.
