Blood lust in Washington
I’ve read a number of Syrian chemical news stories and watched politicians giving inflammatory TV speeches about the Syrian regime or government.
I get the impression that Washington has become hysterical, has smelled blood like a shiver (pool) of sharks working themselves into a feeding frenzy.
Why? Because the Executive Branch has concocted a story that as chemical weapons were used in Syria, then the Syrian government must have done it and must be punished by killing Syrians, all in the name of peace. He must act now, before the error is discovered.
I don’t smell blood, I smell the Iraq, WMD story all over again, and the complicit media is buying into it. Shame on them.
My analysis published here, or by clicking the image below, indicates otherwise as I believe that the al-Qaeda elements in the rebel group are framing the Syrian government. Why?
Because they have learned to control President Obama like a puppet. Pull the right strings and as he is predisposed to blame the Syrian government for anything and everything, then this is a good enough reason to go on a killing rampage.
Remember that the many al-Qaeda elements have crossed from Iraq into Syria. We have no idea of what they brought with them. I suspect that they brought chemical weapons from Saddam Hussein’s stockpiles before the Iraq War fiasco, where a thousand people a month are still dying thanks to our government’s rush to war in 2003.
Just for arguments sake, let’s say that an independent analysis of the chemical weapon’s signatures show that the al-Qaeda/rebels did it, that the U.N. inspectors matched the signatures from Iraqi weapons to prove that they were not produced in Syria. And that President Obama chooses to ignore is that although the attack was on a rebel stronghold, none (that I can find) of the rebel fighters were hurt, just civilians.
What will Mr. Obama do? Nothing.
He’d just say that they were bad, and keep sending them non-lethal supplies. I don’t know what the CIA is doing, but I suspect their supplies are not non-lethal.
Attacking Syria won’t accomplish much, but will position the Russians to step in and offer more assistance to the other side.
In the meantime, tens of thousands of civilians will be dying in the next year as the war continues, thanks to our president failing to grasp the solution. Mr. Obama is not interested in saving civilian lives, just venting his “Nobel Peace Prize” blood lust.
Shame on him.

You may have noticed but the Obama administration no longer talks about Syria violating the 1993 Chemical Weapons Treaty so he can target the Syrian government irregardless of who did it, but instead attacking Syria based on international “norms.” If you haven’t watched the YouTube video at the top of this page, be sure to see it. It illustrates a subtle change of language. Why does he use the word norm, something that the national media hasn’t noticed?
Because no one in the White House bothered to read the treaty. Syria didn’t sign it, so is not bound by its conventions. Not that that matters to the White House. In spite of all the protestations about our following the “Rule of Law,” our president is determined to get rid of al-Assad irrespective that how many Syrians that his foolish actions will kill. Sadly, he has become another George W. Bush. Read this new report about how nearly a half a million Iraqi’s died in President Bush’s war here. That war is ongoing, but the media has lost interest.
